You’ve found the home for you, put in an offer, and now the clock is ticking. You need a home inspection before the contingency period ends, and you have no idea where to start. Your Google search comes back with a long list of inspectors and multi-inspector corporate firms. Which one do you choose? It might seem easiest and safest to go with the “big guys” but wait. Before you call and get their automated phone tree, let me give you three reasons why a single local inspector is worth it.
